Do you replace our MSP or internal IT team?

No. Steady Compliance works alongside your existing IT resources. Your IT team manages IT. We manage the compliance requirements surrounding your environment.

Do you only provide CMMC services?

No. CMMC is one part of the defense contractor compliance landscape. We help organizations understand and manage requirements involving DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, DoD assessments, CMMC, and related compliance obligations.

Is CMMC currently required?

CMMC Phase II is currently paused while the program undergoes review. That does not eliminate the underlying cybersecurity obligations that may apply to your contracts and environment. We'll help you determine what requirements currently apply to you.

Can you help remediate existing compliance gaps?

Yes. We help identify deficiencies, establish remediation priorities, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain the documentation and evidence supporting your compliance program.

Do you conduct the DoD or CMMC assessment?

No. Formal assessments are performed by the appropriate authorized assessment body or government personnel, depending on the applicable requirement. Our role is to help you build, implement, document, and maintain the environment before that assessment.

What happens after we're compliant?

Compliance doesn't stop when the assessment is over. We continue managing the program, maintaining documentation and evidence, and helping keep your controls aligned with your actual environment.
